We have skilled writers with deep background in their craft and our client sectors; researchers; award-winning graphic and web designers; account and project managers; masters in social media marketing, print and fulfillment; website programmers and analysts. With careful investments in tools and technology and honed production methods, we’ve created an environment in which results and solutions constantly flow to our clients.
While the average client-ad agency tenure is less than three years, FMB has sustained many client partnerships for ten, fifteen and in some cases, twenty years.

Senior Vice President, Client Service
Project Manager for Strategic Development
Odette’s “over the moon” work moments come when clients refer to FMB professionals as part of their staff. These moments reflect her primary goal: “to know and understand our clients so thoroughly that we integrate with them.” Her work draws on in-depth understanding of the client’s history, mission, goals, structure, publics, competition and business sector.
At FMB since 1998, Odette’s projects have won numerous CASE, Advertising Federation and other industry awards. She’s proud of a statewide heart-health marketing campaign for Pfizer, Inc., which became a national model, and of her major role in promoting Marymount University and Eastern Kentucky University to new regional and national publics. With an unwavering belief in education as the lynchpin to individuals meeting their potential, she takes great satisfaction in highly successful fundraising campaigns for Hiwassee College and Campbellsville University, both of which surpassed fundraising goals – one broke school records for year-end giving while the other was met ahead of schedule, reset, and met again. These successes allowed significant new opportunities to students who otherwise would not have been able to pursue higher education.
Odette delights in the “confluence of values” she finds in her work: “Joy is borne of doing good for others.”
After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Carson-Newman College, Odette went on staff and was soon directing the News & Publications Department. There she designed and implemented successful recruiting, brand development and fundraising campaigns. She has directed broadcast news, taught at a juvenile detention facility and donates time for community fundraising initiatives.

His professional experience includes several years in journalism and teaching at the university level.
Previously part of the University Relations leadership team at Carson-Newman University, Mark established Online Services, directed News & Publications and throughout his career there worked with Academic Affairs, Alumni Relations, Annual Fund and Athletics. His experience includes rebranding an institutional magazine, producing award-winning annual and presidential reports as well as on-site reporting and photography across the South and from the Middle East.
He began his writing career as a reporter and then editor in suburban Atlanta before editing and managing a local newspaper. He holds a B.A. in journalism and a master’s degree in theological studies from Samford University and the M.A. in English from the University of Montevallo.
Andrea wanted to be an artist from the first time she held a crayon. In high school, an advertising class introduced her to what she likes to call “art you can engage with.” During her 21-year career she has developed brands, executed marketing strategies and created everything from ads, TV commercials and websites to toys for Fisher-Price.
Half of her career has been invested in running her own illustration and design firm. Her work with well-known clients, including Disney Consumer Products, Sea Ray Boats, Scripps Networks, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Dean Foods, has garnered attention, awards and market share. Her creative direction permeates our visual arts team, excites clients and casts a creative vision across the agency.
A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, Andrea holds a bachelor of fine arts degree. She chose and completed minors in graphic design and glass blowing to expand her knowledge base and explore new horizons. Ever the artist, she loves painting and collecting the work of other artists, along with cooking, camping and spending time with her family.
Web Developer/IT Specialist
Bao got his first computer when he was a little boy in Vietnam and learned everything he could, teaching himself about its software and hardware. He even took the unit apart to see how it worked and then tried — unsuccessfully — to put it back together. But he’s never stopped learning.
Since coming to the United States at age 17, he’s earned an associate degree from Pellissippi State Community College and his bachelor’s in computer science from the University Tennessee. These days he doesn’t break computers; he builds them in his spare time.
As of September, Bao is very proud to be a citizen of the United States.

Learning about our clients and telling their stories is Terry’s favorite part of his job at FMB. That could mean interviewing a faculty member about a lifelong passion for helping the deaf community or describing how a first internship inspired a nationally known broadcaster.
Prior to joining the agency, Terry worked as a newspaper reporter and editor. Stories from his experience editing a daily newspaper on the coast of Maine inspired his novel, The Way Life Should Be, published by Touchstone/Simon & Schuster.
Terry brings more than twenty years of news writing experience to FMB’s public relations work, crafting and pitching stories to consumer media and professional journals and publications. His considerable storytelling abilities are showcased in his compelling profiles and feature articles.
His freelance nonfiction has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Connecticut Post and the Knoxville News-Sentinel. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State.
